Divi Performance Optimization for CANDID

About the Project

CANDID is a boutique law firm requiring a digital presence that reflects their professional precision. As the Divi Performance Specialist for this project, I was commissioned to resolve high-latency issues caused by the site’s complex layout and large asset library. Consequently, the primary objective was to modernize the user experience by significantly improving load times and updating critical site content without disrupting the brand’s established visual identity.

The Technical Strategy: Performance & Polish

Optimizing a Divi-based site requires a disciplined approach to asset management and server-side efficiency. First and foremost, I conducted a deep-level performance audit to identify the specific Divi modules and scripts causing render-blocking issues. In addition to surface-level caching, the project required a complete overhaul of how assets were delivered to the browser.

1. Advanced Divi Speed Optimization

To achieve industry-leading load times, I implemented custom script minification and optimized the CSS delivery hierarchy. Furthermore, I refactored the global Divi settings to ensure that only necessary assets were loaded on a per-page basis. As a result, the firm now benefits from a much faster “First Contentful Paint,” which is notably critical for retaining potential clients arriving via organic search.

2. Content Strategy & Layout Refinement

Moreover, I oversaw a comprehensive update of the firm’s digital content to ensure alignment with their current legal services. Specifically, I utilized the Divi builder’s modular architecture to implement these updates while maintaining perfect design consistency. Therefore, the platform now provides a more accurate and engaging narrative for entrepreneurs and business owners seeking legal counsel.
