About the Project
Talon International is a legendary global brand known for inventing the zipper and providing high-end apparel trims. As the
Custom WordPress Developer for this project, I was commissioned to build a sophisticated, high-performance website from the ground up.
Consequently, the primary focus was to deliver a bespoke digital environment using ACF Pro that could reflect the brand’s heritage while meeting modern enterprise performance standards.
The Technical Strategy: Enterprise-Level Precision
Building a site for a global manufacturer requires a disciplined approach to code architecture and content management. First and foremost, the client needed a fully customizable backend that would allow their team to manage complex product galleries easily. In addition to these administrative requirements, the site had to maintain lightning-fast load speeds for international visitors.
1. Advanced ACF Pro Implementation
To achieve complete design flexibility, I integrated ACF Pro as the backbone of the WordPress environment. Furthermore, this enabled me to build modular blocks that give the client total control over their layout without bloating the code with third-party builders. As a result, the site remains extremely lightweight and developer-friendly.
2. Speed Optimization & Global Performance
Moreover, I performed a deep-level performance audit to ensure the site meets the highest Core Web Vitals standards. Specifically, I refactored legacy scripts and implemented advanced asset minification. Therefore, Talon International now possesses a high-speed storefront that provides a seamless user journey regardless of the visitor’s global location.
